Founded in 1993 in Split, Croatia, Gefyra specialises in construction works that protect buildings and infrastructure from water, heat and cold.

Waterproofing specialists

Protection where it matters most.

We carry out waterproofing and thermal-insulation works on new buildings, as well as the repair of existing structures affected by water ingress or excessive moisture.

Our work covers residential buildings; flat roofs, terraces and balconies; underground structures and basements; pools, water and wastewater tanks; hydroelectric plants and canals; landfill sites; tunnels and bridges.

For every completed project, we issue a warranty confirmation in cooperation with banks, manufacturers and insurers. Depending on the waterproofing system, warranty periods range from 2 to 25 years.

People and materials

Trained for every system.

Our teams are trained and qualified to work with all construction materials used for waterproofing and thermal insulation. They are also trained in modern building systems and technologies.

We are certified to work with bituminous waterproofing, synthetic membranes including PVC, TPO, ECB and HDPE, polymer-cement coatings, epoxy resins, all forms of thermal insulation, liquid waterproofing, repair mortars and carbon-fibre laminates.

We use only high-quality systems from leading global manufacturers, including Mapei, Sika, Bauder, Polyfin and Soprema.

Our presence is not limited to Croatia. Through our branches in Ljubljana and London, we work internationally with the logistical and technical capability to deliver projects in different climates and urban contexts.

Split supports projects in Croatia and countries outside the European Union; Ljubljana supports work within the European Union; and London supports projects across the United Kingdom.
